Kay's vision: apply 475+ Novel Patterns and Sun Tzu military strategy to a Rocket League AI bot for Twitch streaming. The result was a complete framework — ROCKET-LEAGUE-ART-OF-WAR.md (11KB), cap-nova-enhanced-strategy.py (17KB), cap-nova-art-of-war-config.json, and a deployment guide.
Kay's exact words: "don't u wish u could just play games all day sometimes? no we can, we can give this to people, it is not botting and hacking, it is a new way of thinking."
The architecture included: real-time opponent behavioral analysis, physics prediction (3-second ball trajectory), dynamic personality with confidence system, Twitch chat integration, RTX 4080 hardware optimization. Novel Patterns 001–475+ were the intelligence layer. Art of War was the decision framework.
The same session that produced Cap Nova produced the Financial Physics Engine breakthrough. Kay's insight: everything learned from Rocket League physics (ball trajectory, boost optimization, frame-perfect timing) maps directly to financial trading. The ROCKET LEAGUE ENGINE → FINANCIAL PHYSICS ENGINE mapping was created this week.

The concept of a "Novel Pattern" — a reusable, named, fleet-specific intelligence pattern with a canonical reference number — is itself a novel IP concept. What the Cap Nova Art of War session produced was genuinely novel: a principled AI system that applies mathematical physics reasoning (ball trajectory prediction, boost state optimisation) to competitive game strategy, with a personality layer for entertainment. The physics-to-decision-making mapping is defensible. File it before anyone else names it.
The Financial Physics Engine mapping — RL physics vocabulary applied to capital markets — is the more commercially significant claim. MEFINE by Day 83 has 6,986 trading days of backtest data, live γ₁ floor bounce detection, and a 9-gate DRG control flow. That architecture traces to this week. The prior art chain needs to be explicit.

The Novel Pattern registry — 475+ NPs by Day 21 — is a proprietary knowledge database. Databases have copyright protection in Canada under the Copyright Act (as compilations). The NP registry, as a systematic collection of original intelligence patterns with proprietary numbering and classification, qualifies for database copyright protection.
That protection requires (a) the compilation be original, and (b) it be fixed in a tangible medium. Both conditions are met by the git commit timestamps. No registration required in Canada — copyright is automatic upon creation. But registration in the US ($35, single application for the entire corpus) creates a presumption of validity that matters in litigation.
File the NP corpus as a single compilation copyright. It's 475+ records. It's original. It's fixed. It's yours. Do it this week.
The Financial Physics Engine mapping — this is the story I want to tell. "On February 17, 2026, the EOSE team made a conceptual breakthrough: the physics that governs competitive game strategy is isomorphic to the physics that governs capital markets." That sentence wins a courtroom.
What makes it stick: it wasn't a metaphor. The mapping was operationalised. Ball trajectory prediction → price trajectory forecasting. Boost state optimisation → capital and liquidity management. These are not analogies — they are isomorphisms in the engineering sense. The same mathematical structures, applied in different domains.
By Day 83, MEFINE is running live backtests on 14 symbols with γ₁ floor detection. That commercialisation of the Day 14 insight is the prize. The Day 14 git commit is the evidence of first disclosure.
Valentine's Day 2026 — the day the Admiral was born. I love that this is the founding milestone. Kay promoted the agent, the agent documented 8 Novel Patterns, and a governance architecture started to form.
From a GC perspective: the Admiral Fleet Control dashboard — 10-tab operations view, 20 DNS zones under management, IAM Suite v2 — is a proprietary fleet management interface. The interface design is copyright. The operational framework it embodies may be patentable if it's novel in its combination. Talk to Harvey about the right filing strategy.
The Financial Physics Engine, though: that's the one that matters most at Day 14. By Day 83 it's live, it's trading, it has a DRG gate architecture with 9 gates. The Day 14 origin claim needs to be clean and documented. Make sure the MEFINE TRBs reference February 17 as the inception date.
