Every periodic table has gaps — elements we KNOW exist
but haven't found yet. Mendeleev predicted gallium, germanium, and scandium before anyone
discovered them, just from the shape of the gaps.
The Shadow Table tracks all the gaps across all 22 PEMOS periodic tables.
It's the map of what we don't know.
Shadow elements fall into three categories:
PREDICTED (we know it's there, just not filled),
PARTIAL (sketched but incomplete), and
DARK (we don't even know what we don't know — the unknown unknowns).
Right now the Shadow Table has more entries than any other PEMOS table.
That's a feature, not a bug — it means the fleet is self-aware about its own blind spots.
