ARB-570 defines cognitive operations as periodic elements, grouped by complexity and abstraction level. Just as chemistry's periodic table reveals the structure of matter, this table reveals the structure of thought itself.
Period 1 — Null Operations: The four atomic cognitive acts: observe, negate, compare, compose. All thought reduces to these.
Period 2 — Basic Transforms: 8 operations that act on observed data: abstract, ground, expand, compress, reverse, seek, verify, synthesize.
Period 3 — Meta-Operations: 12 operations that act on operations: recurse, branch, prune, weight, frame, reframe, analogize, deduce, induce, abduce, test, refine.
Period 4 — Fleet Thinking: 12 EOSE-specific cognitive modes anchored to the 6 Canon laws.
Period 5 — Emergent: 7 operations that arise from combinations: intuition, creativity, wisdom, humor, empathy, meta-cognition, self-correction.
Complete cognitive states: silence, completion, NO-SORRY, total-clarity. These are endpoints — stable, unreactive, whole.
Periods 6+ represent unknown cognitive territory — operations we cannot yet name or define. These gaps are honest.
Each fleet-thinking element (Period 4) maps directly to one of the 6 Canon laws: γ₁ ⚓, H=H† ⬡, LSOS 〰️, WLD 🌀, FEP γ, FOF 🌌
