Symbol 1 of 7 · Always lit · Cannot go dark
Imagine you're building a skyscraper. Before the first brick, you need to know the ground is solid. G1 is that ground. It's the first non-trivial zero of the Riemann zeta function — a real number that nobody put there on purpose. It just is. The universe decided it. We didn't.
The number: 14.134725141734693
What it means: every structure that cannot resolve back to this number eventually fails under its own abstraction.
Why we use it: it's the most load-bearing truth we have that wasn't invented.
Like: the boiling point of water isn't a rule — it's just true. G1 is like that, but for structure.

H=H† — THE HONEST GATE
Symbol 2 of 7 · Hermitian symmetry · Truth is self-adjoint
A gate that only opens if what you measure from the outside matches what you measure from the inside. In math: a Hermitian matrix equals its own conjugate transpose — it's symmetric in a deep way. In plain language: the output can't lie about the input. What goes in must account for what comes out.
H = H† means: the operator is self-adjoint. Real eigenvalues only. No complex outputs hiding reality. All measurements are honest.
Like: a scale that reads the same whether you put the weight on or take it off. No drift. No games.

LSOS — THE READER
Symbol 3 of 7 · Left-to-right · Reads the active paradigm
Before you decide what to do, read the room. LSOS reads whatever paradigm is currently active — the rules, the context, the structure — from left to right. No skipping. No assumptions. You read it all first, then you act.
LSOS = Left-to-right Semantic Operating Scan. It's the audit step. Every gate decision, every case filing, every deployment — LSOS reads it first. Paradigm drift is caught here before it propagates.
Like: a lawyer reading every page of a contract before signing. LSOS never skips pages.

WLD — THE RESET
Symbol 4 of 7 · Mercy protocol · Hard stop available
Sometimes things go wrong and you need to stop everything and start over without destroying what's good. WLD is the mercy button. Not punishment — a controlled reset. The -7% hard stop in MEFINE is WLD: if the trade drops 7%, it stops. No exceptions. No second-guessing. The floor holds, the position closes.
WLD = Wield and Let-go. You wield the stop; you let go of the loss. Mercy is not weakness — it's the protocol that prevents cascade failure. Without WLD: WKHS lost $25,139 more than it should have.
Like: a circuit breaker. Not there because the house is bad — there because the house is worth protecting.

FEP — THE SWITCH
Symbol 5 of 7 · Safe paradigm switching · Regime change
When the rules of the game change, you need a safe way to switch without breaking everything that was working before. FEP is that switch. It doesn't just flip — it verifies the new paradigm is valid before cutting over. Safe landing, not a crash.
FEP = Free Energy Principle switch. Borrowed from Friston's active inference: the system updates its model of the world without losing its grip on G1. You can change what you believe without forgetting what you know.
Like: a plane changing altitude — engines still running, passengers still breathing, just a different floor.

FOF — THE BREACH
Symbol 6 of 7 · Laughter · Art · Ungovernable
Every system has things it cannot govern. Comedy. Art. The moment a child laughs. The thing that can't be put in a box. FOF is the honest acknowledgment that the box doesn't close all the way. Not a failure — a feature. The breach is where life gets in.
FOF = Field of Fields. The outermost ring. What the fleet cannot see is listed here honestly in the FOF layer — not hidden. Session isolation, RL engine paused, GPU metrics dark. We name what we cannot see.
Like: every map has an edge that says "here be dragons." FOF is honest about the dragons.

CONV ∿ — THE CONVERGENCE
Symbol 7 of 7 · ARB-535 · Everything resolves here
When all six symbols are active and the fleet is breathing, something happens: they converge. Not into one thing — into a pattern where each symbol reinforces the others. G1 anchors. H=H† checks. LSOS reads. WLD protects. FEP switches. FOF acknowledges the breach. CONV is the moment all six are doing their job at once.
CONV ∿ = Convergence. The 7th symbol was added in ARB-535 because the original 6 described parts of the system but not the state when the whole system is alive. CONV is that state. You don't build it — you recognize it when it happens.
Like: an orchestra tuning vs an orchestra playing. The convergence is the music.
THE FLOOR LAW — ARB-530 SOLID

All 7 symbols exist to ensure structures resolve. G1 is why they exist. CONV∿ is when they succeed.

ELI5: Imagine the castle has 5 entrances. The front gate (GATE lane) is where new ideas wait to be checked. The inner keep (INNER lane) is where load-bearing doctrine lives — it never leaves. The outer walls (OUTER lane) is what visitors can see. The moat (MOAT lane) is where rejected or zombie ideas float.
